Who we are

Last updated: 23 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit businessinbrief.com or buy from us, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. The site is run by MILLIONAIRE GROUP LLC, doing business as Business in Brief, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. We are the controller of your personal information. You can reach us about privacy at support@businessinbrief.com.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the shop, deliver your products and understand which of our pages and ads work:

  • Order information: your email address, and your name and billing country as passed to us by our payment provider, Stripe, together with what you bought, when and for how much. We never receive your full card number.
  • Account information: your email address and the one-time sign-in codes we send you. Codes are stored only in hashed form, work once and expire after 10 minutes.
  • Checkout email: if you enter your email at checkout but do not finish paying, we keep it so we can send you up to two reminder emails about the unfinished order. Every reminder has a one-click unsubscribe link.
  • Sign-ups and quiz answers: your email address when you ask for a free eBook or sign up for emails, and the answers you give in our quizzes.
  • Site activity: the pages you view and the buttons and links you click on our own site, and which version of a page you saw when we test two versions.
  • Technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, used to prevent fraud and abuse and to measure our advertising.
  • Messages: anything you send us by email or through a form, such as a refund request.

Cookies and similar technologies

We set the following first-party cookies, which only our site can read:

  • bib_cid: a random identifier for your browser, so we can count visits and connect them to an order.
  • bib_ft and bib_lt: the first and the latest ad or link that brought you to us (campaign parameters such as utm tags, and ad click identifiers).
  • bib_ab_*: which version of a page you are shown when we test two versions, so you see the same one each time.
  • __Host-bib_session: keeps you signed in to your account.
  • bib_consent: remembers your cookie choices.

When you allow them, Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel also set cookies and use similar technologies to measure visits and the results of our ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we show a consent banner, and these advertising and measurement cookies are only used if you agree. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the shop and your account will not work properly without the sign-in cookie.

How we use your information

  • To process your order, deliver your files, keep your account working and send you order and sign-in emails.
  • To provide customer support, handle refunds and answer your questions.
  • To send you the free eBook or emails you asked for, and up to two reminders about an unfinished checkout. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To measure which ads, links and page versions bring visitors and sales, and to improve our site and products.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse and attacks on our site.
  • To keep tax and accounting records and meet our other legal obligations.

Legal bases for using your information

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on these legal bases: performance of a contract with you (processing and delivering your order, your account and support); our legitimate interests (preventing fraud, securing the site, understanding how our own site is used, and checkout reminders, which you can stop at any time); your consent (advertising and measurement cookies and pixels, and marketing emails where consent is required); and legal obligation (keeping tax and accounting records).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it for us under contract, and only as much as each needs:

  • Stripe: payment processing and fraud checks.
  • Cloudflare: hosting our site, our database, email delivery and bot protection.
  • Our email delivery provider: sending order, sign-in, reminder and other emails.
  • Google (Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads): measuring site visits and ad results.
  • Meta (Meta Pixel and Conversions API): measuring the results of our ads on Facebook and Instagram. When you buy, we send Meta a hashed (scrambled) version of your email address so the purchase can be matched to an ad.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or to a buyer of our business if it is ever sold, under the same protections described here.

Advertising and your choices

We use the measurement tools above to see which ads lead to visits and purchases, and Google and Meta may use this to show our ads to people likely to be interested. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland this only happens if you agree in our cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time. Elsewhere you can opt out by emailing us, through the ad settings of your Google and Meta accounts, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.

International transfers

We are based in the United States and our service providers may process your information in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal information from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (and the UK addendum), or another lawful transfer mechanism, to protect it.

How long we keep it

  • Orders and invoices: 7 years, to meet tax and accounting rules.
  • Email sign-ups and checkout emails: until you unsubscribe, or 2 years after your last activity with us.
  • Site activity events: 13 months.
  • Sign-in sessions: 30 days.

Your account stays open while you have products in it, so you can keep downloading them. When we no longer need information, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your personal information, correct it, delete it, or send it to you or another company in a portable format. You can object to or ask us to restrict how we use it, and where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting what we did before.

To use any of these rights, email support@businessinbrief.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within the time the law requires. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

California residents

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to access, correct and delete it, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell personal information. Using advertising cookies and pixels to measure ads across other websites may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law; you can opt out of this through our cookie settings where shown, or by emailing us. We do not knowingly sell or share the information of anyone under 16.

Children

Our site and products are meant for adults and are not aimed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We protect your information with encrypted connections, hashed sign-in codes, access controls and payment processing by Stripe, so we never handle card numbers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will tell you and the authorities about a breach where the law requires.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we change how our site works or when the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make important changes, we will tell you on the site or by email.
